valentine’s.

so.  it’s lovey-dovey day.  

i'll admit that i fall for it.  the goopy love stuff.  the commercialized crap.  the chocolate-covered strawberries.  ahem.

i just like having a special day to really let those i love really know it.  yes, i think that we should show our love every day … but, come on … what’s one really special day gonna hurt? 

my three favorites in the whole wide world hopefully already know how much i love them.  but what’s a blog for if you can’t spill your lovey-dovey guts to the world?!

my first itty bitty love.  i cannot believe how big you are getting and how fast it is going.

you fill my days with infectious laughter.  and a smile that can literally light up a room.  the funniest things come out of your mouth.  

i love your singing.  dancing. valley-girl talk. and crazy picture poses.

you are passionate.  and headstrong.  and stubborn about the darndest things.  i pray with my whole heart that God will use those qualities for good and for His glory. 

we are working really hard on being kind. on loving others. being truthful.  and a good friend.

today and forever i hope you know how much i love you sweet girl.

you make me laugh.  so hard.  all the time.  you come up with the funniest, most bizarre things.  ever.  and, batman, i absolutely love your imagination. 

your dimpled grin is the best.  and “mommy, will you wock wis me?” is my kryptonite.

you love your sister fiercely.

you are my sweet, sweet boy.  but, when you make up your mind about something, there is no changing it.  praying God molds you in a man after His own heart and uses your kind heart and your hard-headedness to change the world.
